Can I make comic in a western(specifically BD) format even if I draw in an anime/manga style? I hate capeshit with a passion and I don't know if it will also sell with normies if it is good, but adopting a right-to-left format when you're not in japan feels fucking stupid

Why do people into anime here want to draw in the most generic weeby style possible when even in modern manga there is stuff like Witch Hat Atelier or Dungeon Meshi, which manage to stand out also thanks to outside influences as well? Do they just want to draw porn and nothing else?
