>There really isn't an audience for manga inspired comics
Very much agree. I'm not sure if people realise this or not but the reason we have this discussions of this or that western made animation/comic/game etc counts as anime/manga but we don't discuss if this or that Japanese franchise counts as anime/manga is because being Japanese (either drawn by them or released originally for their market) is what makes it so. Weebs aren't just fans of a comic/animated series, they are fans of "Japanese Pop-Culture" and as people from Not-Japan being fans of Japanese Franchises the most you will ever be able to produce in that regard is a Fan-Work. Very few western "anime-influenced" series become actual media franchises, I think RWBY is a good example (example of something begining as a fan work then turning into a big brand) then having a Japanese Anime studio doing an anime series to promote RWBY in Japan, and a Japanese Manga adaption by Japanese Mangaka Shirow Miwa, other comics like Radiant and Scott Pilgrim are western comics that too had Japanese studios doing the animated adaption. The comics are not Japanese Manga though they clearly have a huge influence from Japanese artist, and they had Japanese Anime adaptions, but these are very rare cases, the most any fan of Japanese media franchises outside Japan can aspire to is doing sucessful works at a fan level, hope other fans of Japanese media franchises might give them a chance just on the basis of "hey, he likes the same anime I do"

Sure anon, I hear 'ya. I was more curious about buying twitter ads, let's say I open a Patreon, and sice I have little following nobody will follow me there... will buying twitter ads (basically, paying to put my shit on people's feeds rather than expecting them to retweet and like themselves) drive people to my hypotetical patreon? Also... How do you run a Patreon? I'm really lost on this issue, do I offer them like, an exclusive pin-up?

She used wires and then threw clay on top of it. Not as impresive as, say, those veiled face statues.
