obviously the level of completion is very different, and it's not a fair comparison in that regard, but I definitely feel like the shera drawing has been more tedious and less satisfactory, here is something I drew purely from imagination, I know the head is oversized for the body and the face is fucked

yeah that's very fair, it's a tool that I consciously know exist, I've seen actual artists using them, but I've never really tried, from my understanding, I'd pick a photo of an actual person in a similar pose and then I base my character's body arrangement off that right?

also, I plan on doing Vlippu's drawing manual lecture series and book for the summer, to increase my consistency, efficiency, and maybe learn to draw better human anatomy and proportion with that, do you think that choice will be in line with that short term goal?
