oh, the girl is supposed to be cute? i thought you were going for a goosebumps vibe
mostly it's freaky because of the mouth and the eyes. look at some cutesy disney/pixar stuff or rockwell/leyendecker. for example, de-emphasize the chin, make the teeth more a solid block with a bit less gum, and make the eyes....idk. something. the anime girl is cuter, although her collarbones don't seem to have any relation to her shoulders
