for me, who sucks at drawing, to just have a vague goal of “draw when i have the time and energy to do so, but no pressure and it’s ok if i do something else instead”
if i give myself a goal like “draw every day”, it’ll make me really anxious and paradoxically i’ll end up drawing less than with the previous goal, and i’ll be a lot more anxious over it.
