Your sketch is really clean to my eyes. I mean it's only the beginning. You're gonna have to put in details anyway, right?

My sketch is much messier. I just keep refining as I go along. Then again I'm using a small wacom with my big ass hand.

if I want to make a long line I just zoom out. Pressing Z and do a left or right stroke on the tablet. I draw with very limited movement and only using my fingers. My palm is resting on top of the tablet.
