the same way drawing a fucking square doesn't require you to mewsure the angle of each corner you already know that each side has to be same, so when you are drawing the meme ball is the same now if you are referring to the final product the head, remember the memeball it's mean to be used as a learning tool it's not mean to be used each time you want to draw a head the point is having all these landmarks so is easier to construct from there once you are good at that you start using less maybe just a circle or a cross or nothing

in your pic i don't even know what the fuck are you trying to do there, are these skull studies or the memeball, because those balls are half assed and so the skulls did you even used a ref for the skulls?

the reason for the messy lines is usually because you are trying to find the forms as you draw instead of drawing the forms, that's because you don't know enough about the subject you are drawing and you are just guessing and chicken scratching you woulnt do that when you draw a square because you know how to do it.
