Gob said upfront that he wanted to do the paintover more as an exploration, to try out some ideas he had, rather than strict corrections. I really appreciate it for that, because I know that more realistic lighting/complex schemes are a weakness of mine. Seeing this different approach and hearing Gob explain some concepts helps me understand things better, and gives me ideas what to do next time around.
