god the drawabox dude is just so bad. picrel the figure lesson from before he deleted it. literally like >>4296880 said, he just draws these boxes and shit his whole life and attempts a real illustration from time to time but fails. drawabox is a trap for begs, i realized it a long time ago. how can he not see his drawings suck i have no idea.
honestly i see it with a lot of popular teachers online - sinix and sycra are the same, theyve been drawing for god knows how long and still can draw one thing and their portfolios are hot mess. and yet all of them have their crazy fans that will defend them no matter what because they got basically scammed by them.
as for peter: im not convinced the OP is that bad, i think the face design is just unappealing, but i havent seen anybody explain whats wrong with the anatomy or technique. still, he just rarely draws faces and this is the result.
i think the main problem with all these drawabox and dynamic sketching crap is that it convinces people to treat drawing like science. you have to do this first, then that, etc. while good artists just keep doodling and drawing whatever they fucking like and they progress with time.

go to video course thread and download some popular videos like vilppu or whatever, open a ref and try to draw it, copy a drawing from a book or someone else, just draw a person instead of grinding boxes
i'im not a master but i used to grind these dab and dynamic sketching crap and just felt so frustrated, i just ditched it and started drawing people from imagination and copying drawings/refs and its gradually starting to look better. like, nobody tells you when to stop drawing boxes, all you get is this vague advice "learn construction"

i mean... its not the worst i've seen in my life, but def not the level that should be included in one of the most popular online drawing courses. very stiff and the faces are skewed.
