Here you go Anon, since you are practicing the boxes challenge. I tried to put something from that into this picture. Keep in mind that the perspective point downward at the shoes if you look down.

Yes, I know this redline is by far from being accurate perspective wise I just wanted to demonstrate that it is best if you always think ahead how your figure should be looked at from top or bottom and adjust your cylinder ends that way. If oyu look down then the ground perspective always points up that is a given. A good habit is to always think with curved lines instead of straight lines. Another good rule of thumb is to curve edges downwards in general if they are below the chest line because we usually assume that we are looking straight at the person from a standing or maybe sitting posture.

Although if you use photos as reference then that could change because a lot of photos are shot from kneeling position and from far away which makes the perspective less apparent. Keep in mind where the character is being looked at and then you can adjust your cylinder ends up or down. Of course the way they hold their body also changes this but that is a good way to get used to it none the less.
