Thanks for the advice. I'm still hacking away at this-I feel like it's starting to look a little better, but I'm running out of patience and might have to move on soon. It's unfortunately become apparent that for what it's worth this is generally where my level is at-there's no use struggling with this one picture forever.

At least it looks marginally better than the last one I guess.

Speaking of that, her outfit as depicted is a little weird. The front of her shirt(?) overlaps her pants or "chaps", but her pants overlaps her shirt on the sides. I've seen plenty of people pull it off very well but I don't know what the hell I'm doing, myself.
