KJG is literally doing what Loomis teaches. Literally literally. When you see him drawing in public he's just doing the construction in his head, that's just how bloody good he is.

Yes, boxes and cylinders are impossible to draw. Vilppu and Kim Jung Gi actually have 50000 photos around the cameraman every time they're on camera.

Because it requires acknowledging that Loomis is fucking great, and that requires knowing something about drawing to begin with.
So of course nobody here would be able to talk about him apart from saying OHMYGOD HE MUST HAVE A SPECIAL ABILITY SAVANT MEMORY OHMGYODGYD VISUAL MEMORY like a bloody moron.

If you want to see videos of Loomis in practice, just track down some Vilppu. Same principles.

anyone have any tips for learning a good sense of construction? (specifically non-hard surface objects)

Scott robertsons book is great for vehicles and all, i'm grinding through that now, but does anyone have any different sorces/books/tips for having good construction when it comes to anything organic or not hard surface ?
