>I honestly don't wish to be a commercial artist so I guess I'm NGMI. I draw to show people what I think, and I just want it to look coherent and cool enough for people to like, so when I lay out my story(because I'm more of a writer than a visual artist) it'll catch an eye or two.
I weld for a living because I wasn't ever able to afford art school, so I'm hoping by the time I'm 30 I'll have the money I need to pay for a degree. Got screwed by the military so I can't use my GI bill for art school(it's too expensive), so there went a sixth of my total life so far, and my sister got screwed by a cosigner so now she's in debt with zero fallback other than hoping she'll get lucky with her own talents. Yeah, that's why I won't go for loans. I just want to write a graphic novel, and if I ever fail as an artist I can always just write. Drawing's fun.
