I'm probably barking up the wrong tree here, but technically these are studies in a style I'm trying to emulate. It's just not animu/mangos

In prep for a small personal project, I'm trying to figure out Alex Toth's style. If you are unfamiliar with his name, you definitely recognize his style (not my butchering of it, but his actual work). I'm sticking to the 'idealized' male face for starters and hopefully I'll loosen up as I figure him out more. I'm shooting for that slick, 50s-60s look that Toth is just so good at. His animation models and doodles simplify and are more geometric, I'm trying out his slightly more busy comic book style.
