You mean when everybody had a sonic fursona on their DA? Id rather be back in those days honestly, at least good artists were doing good stuff. That was before the tumblr drones and social media shit storm. Instagram fuckery wasnt everywhere and gatekeeping was a sacred tradition. Now gatekeeping is dead, every shit artist gets accepted by the "online art community" and people are nice to you if you tow the line and make social justice craptoons. The critique anywhere but here is the softest every bodies a winner circle jerk and "muh style" can be passed off as skill. Back then at least that kind of tomfoolery resided in a small part of art gallery wank offs. now great artists dont even do many/popular art exhibitions, unless they give into the propaganda machine and throw feces through a window while screaming the communist manifesto in russian, while doing the seizure dance to some shit rap artist mumbling about bitches, drugs and white people. Yeah fuck this generation of art, ill take a sonic fursona any day of the week over this shit.
