For someone who's "picking up a pencil in the intention to draw" for the very first time, is drawabox a good first resource? I tried diving into "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" from the sticky to start and felt miserably overwhelmed from even the basic exercises. I went ahead and did the first lesson at drawabox and it felt much more manageable. It even felt a little cathartic when I was doing the planes exercise and the lines came so easily. But now I'm worried this is just babystuff and I'm wasting my time. Either way I think I'll do a lesson a day for now, then the homework during my lunch break at work. And I'll post the results here as a sort of incentive not to slip a day

One thing though; it says to draw with your shoulder. I'm trying to but I think I'm actually drawing from my elbow? I'm not sure what it's supposed to feel like drawing a 2 inch line with your shoulder
