You need to work on your values. You don't have enough contrast between your lighter values and darker values. Without that
you won't be able to make any statements about form. Don't be afraid to really play around with your values. That being said, I
don't think this is bad at all, looks pretty good honestly.I see your shifting your hues a bit as you go from light to dark which is
pretty nice. My paint over isn't the best, but I hope it helps to get the idea across. Keep trying, work from some more
references, try to pay attention to how the forms catch light, and try to work on a darker canvas, it will help you see what your
doing a bit better, especially with lighter skin tones.
