When I was like 10 years old, for the first time ever at a museum i started looking really close and long at a painting of a swan. The Threatened Swan by Jan Asselijn The longer I looked the more i understood the creation and story about it. It is my favorite painting at the museum and it is because of it that I want to create that same impact of wonder to people that also just start to gain an understanding for the medium.
