Opened up one of my old animations, bumped up the framerate to 48FPS, and then did a bunch of manual inbetweening. high FPS 2D animation might appease the virgin gamer market, but economically it doesn't make sense to work with such high framerates. this took way too long and doesn't even add anything to the animation other than 2x more frames. the only thing that higher FPS 2D animation seems to have going for it is the wow factor.
was a fun exercise tho, ive always wanted to see what it'd look like if 48FPS was done by hand without any interpolation distortion and weird parallax artifacts.
