most of your stuff suffers from the same value. ofc you can cope and say that its your style, but i think its lack of fundie: using whole value range. turn your pic into gray scale and notice how it all merges into sameish gray and how most shapes will be lost. tldr you arent using darker tones of colors

using occasional dark tone will only boost the perception of bright and colorful spots

all art books which bothered with gesture said the same thing: you will understand it after doing thousands of them. yeah i know. i spend few months grinding gestures and despite all the flaws there were undeniable results. but if you dont like it then do something else. gesture isnt the ONLY way how to improve
