this is not boxing, drawing is not a muscle. If you draw like crap for years doing studies meant for professionals/people who are actually good to work more efficiently, you have only gotten better at drawing like crap faster. You are doing studies to get good at doing studies.

Any improvement you see doing what ic tells you is accidental or you're deluding yourself

Is it true that if you have a low IQ you can't get gud at art and learning material like Loomis is worthless to you?
Im beginning to get scared because I have trouble understanding what any artist talks about in their books. My head starts hurting just thinking about it.
