I'd say you're actually probably a better painter than me, but your aversion to doing anything except the easiest things (grids, photos, celebrities) seems like a cop out. The self-sabotaging is endearing to some extent but at the same time it makes me annoyed that you outright refuse to put your abilities into actual fine arts work (original still life's, landscapes, nudes, portraits). You channel all of your energy into meaningless images, which I get is your "Schlock" but you run the risk of repeating yourself when you don't work from life. And no repeating yourself isn't wabi sabi, because repeating yourself on purpose only works if you repeat yourself differently every time, which is easier done with difficult subject matter because you can start claiming mistakes as part of your style once you learn to make the mistake again. My biggest problem with your approach, which is your intention, is that with this way of painting you can't make mistakes. It's built into the format you are working within. You would have to be a retard to fuck up one of these. But you're not a retard. Hence why they all look the same.
