You should be using manga paper (Deleter, IC, etc.) and pilot drafting ink, it's kneecapping yourself by using different ink/paper than the industry standard. Also, I suggest starting out with the spoon nib before leveling up to the G Pen. If you can't find manga paper Bristol paper can be a suitable alternative.
