Complete beginner working in the Edwards book, this is one of the hand drawings, early exercise. Middle is the reference picture plane outline. The left is initial attempt, looked fucked up so adjusted the length and width of the palm on the right image. Not sure if I even got the picture plane image right, looks a bit off to me.

Anyways still doesn't look exactly right to me, not sure what else I'm missing. I think the pinky and ring fingers are a bit too small, and some of the other lines don't look perfect, but I'm not sure what else to fix, what am I missing?

Should I even be too worried about it, or is the idea with those books to kind of just keep going?
