i gave up on hampton's book and went to huston
i've still got a long way to go but huston taught me more about figure drawing very quickly than hampton
hampton also lacks exercises, and a lot of knowledge in his book is really smashed together.
i believe his book is supposed to be for people who already have a lot of drawing skill, or who got his other course, or is meant to be used with an instructor
looking back at it i can't imagine learning much of anything as a beg from his book without an instructor
