it's literally all people talk about, the two big cheeses of the last hundred years, Picasso and Warhol, and maybe to an extent Bacon in a first instance of a dead horse being beaten and then painted with this subject, had that as their entire dilemma, because it's the same dilemma of how the 20th century went so bananas, I'm not saying it's ever going to stop, but reviving its spotlight with shit about Nazis is the flat out worst, and most fucking typical, way to do it, because someone gets something out of it, and ain't that just the fucking joke we've come back round to

god I just love his sense of composition

more Bacon, first couple is another very detailed biographical doco and a radio doco on him, and the rest are various interviews all chock full of really great discussion with Bacon, the last one being the last interview he gave before he died
