Fat and muscle aren't intertwined, they're their own layers. So even though fat might spill around fat, the muscle underneath won't be too altered. That's why a big belly will make the tits spread, but not pecs.

This guy's probably not as fat as you want, but it's a good example of what happens. Sorry for the dick but you get the idea.
