Gestures will help with poses and your imagination you'll build your own library/references and own pose in your head.
line exercises will help with confident lines & fluid strokes.

They both go hand-hand.
Gestures are supposed to be free and "charismatic...?"
As in just let loose, don't worry about the anatomy and minor details,
let your eyes guide you. (don't symbol draw plz) The thing your brain should think about is if you captured the
"emotion" and the core of the "pose" down.

First comes pose, anatomy comes later.
