For anyone else struggling with way too many inspirations or doesnt know what to focus on when studying art, I recommend downloading Pureref and sorting your inspirations. I am doing that on my coffee break, and i feel like it's helping me realize what i should focus on more.

I share the sentiment, though i personally get really depressed because my inspirations are some pro-tier artists(alke, greg ruttowski, takamichi, yoshinari) and i am at least 20 years behind since i started extremely late in my art journey. I spent my first two years ''just drawing'' and, while i enjoyed it, i regret not grinding the funDIES. This year i started reading books and i feel like i improved a little. I got out of my comfort zone and i enjoy drawing more, but i am going at a snail's pace. Right now i am watching rinotuna's tutorials and i feel like an absolute retard because i have to rewind every few seconds to understand what he's saying. I guess its a matter of trying over and over until you get it.

i'm thinking about switching my 2018 11"Ipad pro for a 2021 ipad mini 6, since i've bought a new computer and use a intuos pro for drawing on computer, i'm more intersted for the portability, and the lack of weight. is it interesting or should i keep my old ipad ? i like the mini for being a tiny sketchbook and also uses more my comp than my ipad pro tho... but i still like the idea of having a digital sketchbook (and to also read books)
