a brief example of what i meant, left is full opacity with pressure and right is ~30% opacity with pressure. the overlaps still happen, but they're much easier to control without creating further overlaps, so blending becomes much more consistent

the minimum is really personal preference, all it means is how low the opacity will go with the lightest press (instead of 0%-100% the range will be [minimum]%-100%). you can play around with it but my settings are the same as yours here, so you can get extremely light strokes by pressing lightly.
