The Giano is easily more desirable than any other desktop-style tablet made by Wacom or Huion. However, if money isn't an issue I would personally still take the Intuos Large over the Giano just because of the stylus. At least I think I would.

When it comes to the tablet portion of the device itself, the Giano is actually superior though...

>bigger active area
>smaller overall footprint
>drawing surface material is a smooth rubbery/plasticky thing similar to the Intuos 3 (instead of the Intuos 4-and-Up's "natural texture" nib-eating surface)
>free wireless/battery ($40 for Wacom equivalent I believe)

...but nothing beats the Wacom stylus. It's really only worth the "upgrade" to the Intuos Large if you have money to burn though. I have to concede that I may be only saying this because I'd already had my Intuos Large long before the Giano was made available. Would I have really paid an extra $150 or so because the stylus is slightly better? I guess I can't truly say.
