So I'm a med student. I used to draw all the time as a kid but somewhere I lost the thrill and never picked up back up. Now years later, I'd like to try to get back into art and drawing. In clinics it's best to draw for the patients so they can best understand where doctors will be cutting for surgery or showing them what and where organs are or even combining organs together after removing one like for example pancreaticoduodenectomy. Anyway because of this I've found the will to draw again, I have a couple artist acquaintances and one of them told me to purchase a wooden doll to practice lighting, poses, angles etc. Well, the doll is shit. The range of motion is shit and the limbs never stay in place they spring back. Are there any figures to practice with that you guys would recommend?
