that's symbold drawing, best thing you can do, if you want to start learning to draw as an adult, is reading the sticky (loomis is early for you right now, drawabox.com too
literally, you gotta learn to measure shapes and angles with modules to be able to copy (see), drawing with the left part of the brain might helps you in that regard

doing stuff with your hands won't get you anywhere, you won't learn stuff on your own unless you plan to invent the wheel every step ahead, which you're not gonna do

at any approach, keep in mind you have to delay gratification, don't seek to reach finished results from every scrach (unlike you're already doing).
