Why do people here think if you don't draw EVERY LINE from the groundup, there's something "wrong" with your art?

>see something from life
>draw it
>OK
>see something from picture
>draw it
>PLAGIARISM OMG

The only difference is you removed the part of trying to coordinate the basic forms to paper (ie: fundies). At the end of the day, that is irrelevant and only the final product matters, as evidenced by successful artists like Illya. Is all the complaining from bucket crabs who want you to waste the same amount of time they did grinding boxes to no avail?

>/r9k is elitist about being alone
very true, never thought about it that way. humans' ability to find a way to feel better about any little thing is remarkable.

>just read the sticky
>just spend thousands of hours drawing boxes and lines
meanwhile there are artists who traced or heavily referenced (practically traced, with small modifications) who now have professional jobs in the industry, or have published comics. most of the successful patreon artists just do paintovers.

while retarded nerds keep drawing boxes thinking anyone cares about the process. in the age of technology with the wealth of references on the internet, you're only gimping yourself while everyone moves ahead of you. vilpu, loomis, and all the other dinosaurs worshiped here are only holding beginners back in the modern age.

>I'm collecting them and will post a collage when I feel I have enough.
I've noticed some of the stuff you noticed, but I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. Looking forward to your collage

What's the best way to have fun drawing together with people online? Does ic have a flockdraw or something similar?
