You're too obsessed about what others think. Remember everyone else has their own problems to worry about.

Just sit down in a public place with people around. Typically if eyes meet twice I normally will finish the drawing on that I can remember or later if they're still around.

I've had more people tell me my drawings were nice (They're shit); If someone takes issue, just politely stop.

I have more memories of people jokingly posing once they noticed than people getting upset,
Just smile, wave and don't be a creep about it.
