So a lot of art I think boils down to mentality. How do you approach your drawings, etc. So I'd like to take a kinda-sorta poll.

Take pic related. You start drawing it. How do you break down what you do next? Do you start big or small? Do you chip away at a general shape until you have what you like? What's your internal monologue? Stuff like that.

Finally, how long have you been drawing and how good would you say you are? What do you like/dislike about your drawing?
