I have a serious question.
HOW DO NOSES and FACES WORK in volumes?! Like the cheekflabs connected to the nose, etc.
Anyone got a handy explanation for that?

Well yeah those that you pointed out really are mistakes. I think somebody else already said it, but save for some fanboys or "/ic/-approach haters", everybody recognizes that Ruanjia anatomy is often wonky. The point why nobodies make hate threads about him is that not only he is pretty damn good at everything else but for the little that we know he is humble and recognizes his own mistakes. He improved over the years too. And -sorry /ic/- his style is very eye-catching.
Nobody can realistically become a perfect artist with no weakness, so as far as a flawed human being goes Ruan Jia seems like a pretty cool dude to admire.
