I'm working on a value study and have started to apply some rough colors. I haven't done much in the way of rendering, but I was curious what brush settings and tool type to use for blending colors in sai, and getting a good looking gradient from it?

So far I've just tried brushes with various blending and density levels, but all turn out streak-y. Thanks for any help.
