Think about it. You can "make it" immediately, all you really have to do is follow instructions. But to make something new and delicious sounds impossible to me. In fact, a lot of the foods we eat were made totally accidentally, or out of necessity, or as a culmination of many generation's minor contributions. There was no master chef who invented cheese. Who could come have up with sushi?

Could anyone point me to a resource, or should I just get comfortable with a ruler and calculator?
