I did a redline of the body as it was, but I added a little pose doodle below. I'm guessing the line is a laser or something like, and I think you could be pushing the action a little more. Really make it look like she's getting blasted, and she's all 'no, don't gut me!' and stuff.

The line of action is something to keep in mind for posing. Found a pic to demonstrate, but it's exaggerated for cartoons, and I don't know if it meshes with Anime composition theory.

Also, look for pictures of hair in water to get that floaty look.
