Yeah, on further inspection I just went with whatever forms I wanted and built on those, making things really wonky.

As much as I feel all fuzzy with 4 people responding, I think it's always better to have more replies. It just gives you a better idea of what the consensus is on the most glaring issue (not that I don't value individual criticism, but it never hurts to see what everyone is having an issue with).

Also I didn't post the rough sketch, not that it matters much, but I didn't give the process at how I arrived at the "final" (lol) outcome. Onto the next drawing. Thanks guys!
