Thanks, emulating Kawamori was what I had in mind when I was designing that.
Linework is something I've been trying to get better at, but there's not really any magical tips I've found that can improve it immediately so at this point I think I'm just gonna continue grinding at it till it gets better.
As for a rendering style I'm actually not entirely sure yet what I want to go for which is another part of the issue.
That's why I've been trying to push my self to begin attempting pieces so I can make the mistakes and learn where to go next.

My end goal is to develop 4 styles of rendering for sketches, concept art and complete pieces.
For finished pieces I like stuff like the top left side of pic related that has a more painterly and scenic look to it and also stylized works like the top right.
And I also want to develop a rougher/simpler rendering style(bottom left) I can use for quickly hammering out ideas and a more technical looking one(bottom right) for getting more specific details on finalized designs.
