/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

So earlier this week i got a... i think it was a steroid injection??? to relieve my carpal tunnel symptoms. And now i can finally draw for more than five minutes without pain and without my hands going numb.
Have any of you had hand/wrist problems that have kept you from art?
I haven't drawn more than doodles and scribbles for over a year. I've changed up my pen grip several times. I don't know what i'm supposed to be doing anymore, other than starting over completely.
Did anyone else here stop for a period of several months, before they could draw again? How did you cope? How did you get back in the habit?

he's my favorite too, favorite contemporary anyway. i liked him at first because of those ones like pic related which are paintings but have photographic effects like being blown out or out of focus or with motion blur etc. but visually i just like his stuff so much
