This was one of my first serious attempts at watercolor painting. I had trouble trying depict depth with the river and road next to it. The road was especially hard for me to depict as a path going into the horizon rather than just a line going down the page.
Another thing I noticed until too late was how from my point of view sitting down, his face seemed shorter than it appears looking straight on.
What critique does everyone have for working with watercolor and painting in general?
