Not only are you wrong but this is why so many western can't into anime to save their lives. You're oblivious to the fact that anime is an exaggeration of asian beauty ideals and how much this affects proportions in the body. You're also ignore the amount of selective simplification and detailing that is done in anime to get the desired look. To keep this brief, there's reason you can look at pic related and immediately think 'that's not anime.'

Cant blame American Comicfags for seething when there industry went full titanic in the past 8 years, and now their medium is irrelevant, and will be dead in the next decade they are have that pose as if they always respected anime and pretend that the didn't shit on it relentlessly for decades. With that being said it couldn't have happened to a more deserving group of people.
