I swear this thread becomes more disastrous the more it gets reposted. How many times has it been? I count three with this one.

At this point? Not drawing enough. Im hella slow to draw and rarely ever I finished something worth calling "a robust, ambitious, finished piece" as opposed to "just a silly doodle", most of the time it's nothing worth showing anyway. If I could set myself to draw the things I want to draw (which just so happen to align with an audience I can appease to) and do it at a consistent pace, I'd be set to make it to my goals steadily.

As for this guy? Good style (except for those faces), not my tea of cup but it does the job of being appealing to it's audience even though it sometimes falls apart in certain ways (specially the faces). And speaking of his character, she is not that interesting to look at and can be easily confused with either Tifa or Ryuko, which poses a problem to my understanding.

Sweet colors! What did you use for these? just plain colored pencils? They look really great, whatever you're using these for, you're giving them some good use.

I did say I never hopped on trends before and figured this was not going to be the exception, specially with /ic/ essentially being bitchy about this character, I figured, for some retarded reason, I shouldnt do it.

This is something I learned midway through this chibis, that if you want to draw a character, no one has any business telling you otherwise, or acting high and mighty about how drawing X or Y is wrong, it's stupid and even more stupid that it took me this long to figure that out.

I mean, as long as it makes you feel better about yourself and it doesnt *greatly* affect your PR, being honest with your opinions isnt a bad thing. Then again one thing is voicing yourself at moderated degrees with compelling opinions at times it's relevant and a different one is being an opinionated fag that vomits nonsense consistently and without regard of time or even words.
