Hello /ic/, right I'm gonna get to the point as fast as possible. I have 10 months until I am to join an art and design course, now my skills are I say are just of an average beginner. But I want to spend those 10 months practicing like a mad dog, what would be the best way in which I could focus everyday in that 10 months to achieve a better level of my art work?

I'm currently changing college at 18 from a games design course (yes it was fucking terrible, but I got quite a bit of 3D software knowledge) to an art and design course in a different college, my reasons for this are basically I was told that we would be learning how to draw every week. This wasn't true, they did it for a month and then they stopped it. But like an idiot I stayed on the course due to persecution for even mentioning it. That's the first point, the second is that in 5 months I would be entering university with practically no skill when compared to other students who have been learning and drawing a lot more than I have over the years.

So /ic/ please help me to achieve greatness, I need to be good and will sacrifice everything for it.

I have already got most of the necessaries such as a ton of unread books and equipment, but is there anything else that I might be missing?

Just got my first tablet around a week ago, spent around an hour on this. Is there any hope, and what should I be doing next.

What I definitely know I need to learn

>perspective
>digital colouring (understanding of colour theory etc.)
>environments
>composition
>anatomy
