yeah I remember those, were good times where ic was a lot more chill. and by a lot more I do mean a fucking lot. It was so much more proactive than today, in the sense that a lot of people helped each other. redlines were common. today it's rare to see one. Threads were actually usefull.

there's drawthreads on every other boards, and the more frequent they become the more some people will like it and end up here. same with the sakimi wave. it was still acceptable around 2 years ago. today the level on ic is just too low.

it's true though, and by leaving I think it's safe to say some are still lurking. if you posted before you would most likely get constructive and honest feedback, not a toxic one. I rarely post some doodles myself, but I'll never post a finished stuff in here just because most artists wouldn't like to be associated with /ic/, me included.
