I know artists upload educational videos on Youtube, but do any grade school teachers do this too? I'm thinking about making content like this, even livestreaming it but I don't know if this is a common practice among school art teachers.

Beginners could jump straight to Vilppu, but you'll be pissed off at how hard it is and how advanced the concepts he's explaining are. You'd have to re-watch each video 10 times probably- that's what I did. Steve Huston simplifies everything really well, but maybe even treats things too simply and not as comprehensively as Vilppu. I started with Steve Huston and stuck with him for several years before understanding Vilppu, but do whatever the hell you want. They're both fine.

a lot of users have blogged in descriptions or elsewhere about what a hard time comics have been giving them. Work that's as high commitment as comics, which are especially deceivingly difficult, comes out best when done at one's own time and pace, and most users signed up haphazardly because there's no punishment for not completing a challenge (not that there's anything wrong with that). This isn't the fault of challenge (non)participants nor the creator, it's just the resulting combination of a lot of factors. Sometimes I think there should be "lifetime" challenges with no time range, kind of like game achievements.

I have zero chances of making it anyway and even if technology changes art to a point where you don't even have to draw anymore, in the end I draw for pleasure.
I already think 2D is just an accessory to get ideas down so that someone can use zbrush to make a render. You rarely see anything 2D as the final product anymore. 2D animation will soon be gone as well. It's a matter of 8-10 years max.

Not OP, yeah they're very sex positive except when they're not.
I'm into rather light bondage / BDSM and people seem to only approve of the kind where the dom's a woman. With male dom, sub woman, on the other hand, they get really upset. I've seen comments lashing out at pretty innocent or even artistic stuff.
There's definitely a chance I'll get shit for it if I ever get somewhat popular and someone decides to dig a bit (as in barely scraping, I draw this quite openly because it's pretty innocent porn and you can recognize my hand anyway). I love drawing women getting tied up and spanked and I'm afraid there will be a whole lot of material on the net by my hand in the coming years, so if this ever happens there will be landslide of sins to answer for.

Depends on ur experience i guess. Frankly i only started drawing as a adult and only directly w a tablet, almost no pen and paper, so now it feels weird to have a tab w a screen.

That said other than getting used to it there is nothing that should stop u from getting good lines.
