im pretty sure it’s one of those “it’s not the tool, it’s the artist” type situations but default brushes in software like photoshop feel crazy bad to me. im a noob so I don’t really know shit but it feels like they’re all so manufactured and bubbly, lacking any personality. are you supposed to just find a good artist’s brushes and stick with them for life or something? How are you even supposed to know what a good brush is?
